Jay Krishna Jha is a seasoned Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware with over 11 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. He is a full-stack developer responsible for developing productive tools for his current organization, with expertise in both client-side and backend technologies. Jay is proficient in AngularJS, Angular (2+), HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Clarity, Node JS, and Python. He also has experience in streaming technology using Apache Kafka and Socket.io and charting using D3. Jay is well-versed in virtualization technology, including Docker and k8s, and has a deep understanding of VMware technology, such as ESXi and vSphere, as well as servers like Nginx. Before joining VMware, Jay worked at Glassbeam as a QA Engineer, where he gained experience in software testing and quality assurance in a wide variety of environments. He has expertise in compatibility, functionality, usability, reliability, security, installation, and related test methodologies. Jay was responsible for testing web applications, network, client-server, and database projects on Unix and Windows operating systems. He is comfortable working in a team and as an individual and has initiative in creating and executing testing and QA processes, bug documentation, test strategies and plans, and regression. Jay also has a wide knowledge of software testing procedures and theories and is interested in coding as well. He developed Perl and Shell scripts to automate White Box testing. Jay holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Asansol Engineering College and completed his HSC in Science from D.A.V High School.
